Rockstar Capital Acquires Churchill Square Apartments

We have successfully closed on our newest acquisition,Churchill Square Apartments and, as always, we have big plans for this community. Located in Corpus Christi, Texas, Churchill is a 107-unit community with close access to HWY 37, HEB and the Corpus Christi International Airport.

With quick 15-minute access to downtown Corpus Christi and assorted shopping options, our residents are in a convenient and quiet location. As always, our 60-day rehab plan is ready for execution, and we have many quality-of-life improvements in store for Churchill’s residents.

Included in our rehab plan is the addition of a dog park for our furry residents, decking for our pool area, landscaping, and the addition of washer and dryers in the apartment homes. Unfortunately, one of our buildings suffered a fire prior to our acquisition. Fortunately for our prospective residents, we will soon have 8 newly renovated apartment homes for them to reside in.

These 8 units will give us the opportunity to show the Churchill community what it means to be a part of Rockstar Living, inside and outside of their homes. Additionally, these 8 units and any vacant units on property will be getting some eco-friendly additions.

Rockstar places importance on being eco-friendly, and we have equipped many of our apartment communities with additions such as appliances with less water usage, smart thermostats, and LED lighting to help lessen our impact on the environment. With Corpus being right off the Gulf of Mexico, we are implementing the same strategy with the installation of low flow bathroom appliances in all vacant and future make ready apartment homes.
